ODR regulation

On 1.9.2016 shall enter into force the Regulation with the (EU) no. 524/2013, for "online consumer dispute resolution". This so-called ODR Regulation (Online Dispute Resolution), the introduction of an independent, impartial, transparent, effective, fast and fair opportunity extrajudicial dispute settlement to provide. These disputes may arise from the cross-border online sale of goods or the provision of services within the EU. The objective of this Regulation is to be achieved by setting up an online dispute resolution platform (OS platform) at EU level and arrangements for cooperation with the national authorities for ADR. We as traders are therefore from January 9 obliged to inform our customers of the existence of this platform for online dispute resolution. As found on the website of the OS platform, it is expected to enter service in February 2016 - the notice requirement is, however, yet already from 9 January.
